USCIPP’s Purpose USCIPP operates as a member-driven consortium with a shared advisory and oversight structure. A key benefit of membership is the opportunity to shape the consortium’s strategic direction through participation in one of the USCIPP Councils. USCIPP welcomes nominations from industry experts and thought leaders for appointment to the Advisory Council, Benchmarking & Research Council, or Education & Conference Council. Appointments are selective, term-limited, and determined through a formal nomination process. Advisory Council Purpose: Provide strategic leadership to the USCIPP team at NCHL, guiding the consortium’s continued growth and maturity. The Advisory Council fosters collaboration among senior leaders in international programs to address shared challenges and propose solutions. (New appointments will prioritize candidates in senior leadership roles such as executive director, vice president, chief, or chair.) In addition to shaping the content and programming of the USCIPP Annual Meeting, the Council helps define yearly education priorities, strengthen the relevance of educational offerings, and oversee education-aligned 3 workgroups and learning series that promote interorganizational learning and collaboration. (New appointments will prioritize members in roles focused on education, programming, and engagement—such as international program leadership, program development, partnerships/provider relations, and marketing or communications supporting education and event content.) Roles and Responsibilities • Provide guidance on developing and delivering high-value educational content aligned with member needs and industry trends. • Serve as the planning advisory group for the USCIPP Annual Meeting, including agenda structure, themes, and session content. • Review, evaluate, and rank speaker proposals, recommending keynote and panel opportunities. • Oversee education-aligned workgroups and learning series, supporting topic development and review of outcomes. • Recommend topics and formats for webinars, learning series, workgroups and member discussion calls. • Identify opportunities to develop educational resources such as toolkits, guides, or best-practice libraries. • Offer guidance on developing and adopting shared industry standards and practices. • Support strategies to increase engagement in educational initiatives, including identifying speakers and outreach opportunities. • Attend meetings, provide input, and ensure alignment with USCIPP strategic goals. • Respond promptly to requests for feedback on time-sensitive programming decisions. • Support additional ad hoc projects and feedback requests as priorities evolve. 2026 Education & Conference Council Meetings • Friday, January 23: 11:00 AM – Noon CT • Friday, March 27: 11:00 AM – Noon CT • Friday, May 15: 11:00 AM – Noon CT • Friday, August 21: 11:00 AM – Noon CT • Friday, November 13: 11:00 AM – Noon CT *Meeting dates are subject to change. NCHL will communicate any updates in advance. 4 Council Terms & Conditions • Each USCIPP Council comprises up to 15 delegates from different member organizations. • Council appointments are two-year terms, with a maximum of four consecutive years of service on the same Council. After four years, members must rotate off for one term or may serve on another Council. • Delegates are expected to participate actively through meeting attendance, idea generation, and feedback. USCIPP strives for diversity of perspectives and geographic representation across Councils. • Nominations are submitted via the online form and reviewed by NCHL staff and the Advisory Council. • USCIPP may extend appointments for active members without re-nomination annually based on engagement and contribution. Term limits apply. • Regular attendance is essential for continued eligibility. Temporary substitutions, while sometimes necessary, should remain exceptional. • Appointments are made on behalf of the member organization. If a delegate cannot fulfill their term, a replacement should be nominated. • Confidentiality is required for all discussions involving sensitive or proprietary information. • Acceptance of an appointment requires members to agree with all terms and conditions.
